So...has anyone been able to successfully clone the University backpack and make it show up in game/function?

I tried working on this in 2015ish and never got this far with it. (I do visit old projects from time to time) This time I got a default replacement to work. But I have no idea how that would affect the npc backpack that also use/spawn. Not sure if the mesh is pulled from the main file because there are 14 other versions of the same backpack. The developers did this really strange for sure. (we won't talk about the geostates) The XML just says how it numbers the bags 1-14 and chooses randomly for the npcs to wear at University.

Anyone have any ideas? Or who to ask?

Is the video game really subverting its genre? Are you sure it's not just doing clever things within its genre, because otherwise the game would be boring and unchallenging and say nothing interesting? I'm just saying, it's cool and all that the internet allows horror game fandoms to overflow into eachother, but not EVERY 2 hour video essay needs to be spent breathlessly sucking off the devs. Sometimes a game is just REGULAR difficult and REGULAR high-quality.

Besides RPGs made over a decade ago, what is the thing supposedly subverting? Clearly not other contemporary indie horror games, because there is clearly a convergent ethos forming of cosmic horror and beginners' traps; that's just what the genre looks like nowadays.

I hate how tutorials have begun to cater to short form content.

1 minute is not enough to show how to style a wig or draft a pattern.

And if you have to make multiple parts, then at that point, just make a youtube video

I wish the fiber craft stores had classes on the things that are actually difficult and intimidating and hard to learn by yourself like different types of short rows, or how to do a button band with buttons, or colorwork, or the dreaded steek, or bobbles or icord instead of dozens of 101 classes where they teach you how to cast on, knit, purl, bind off, and mayyyyybe really basic increase and decrease, and then occasionally they have a "class" labeled 102 or skill building or something that is just open knitting while an instructor (who is also working the register) is available if you have a question, for $125-200.

So I'm normally not that into the idea of doing colourwork, but

I saw a very cool jumper with colourwork lemons

But at first I didn't notice that the shoulders go the One Way That Is Deeply Uncomfortable For Me (kinda shallow / \). So I couldn't get it

But now I'm thinking.. maybe I should knit them lemons for myself

Also there IS one stranded colourwork sweater in my plans

But if I'm to match the vibe of "4 lemons on the whole body", I'd need to figure out intarsia. And it's a bit scary, because the last time I tried making an intarsia swatch, that didn't end well... Though no. It ended WITH *A* well. Or a trench. Right along the colour change line. And now I don't even remember how I was doing that intarsia

...gotta try and find a good tutorial if I'd decide to do it. Which is hard these days because everyone and their knitting cat does videos instead. Maybe interweave has the pictures of how to intarsia???????
